Foil antenna on newer bikes - dos it work ?

A question for you that now have the foil antenna mounted inside the top-box - dos it work ? - is it any better than the FM antenna on the front of the bike ?

It's not bad, but I am not impressed either. I have the feeling I get a little more white noise on some stations, but it's not so bad that I have to switch channels immediately.

Can't say that I have noticed any difference between the one fitted to the front or the foil one in top box, other than aesthetics.

There is a lot of electric noise coming from the led drivers on board, and I would like to test out if it's better in the rear of the bike on my RT.
I have ordered a foil antenna today - and some ferrite filters for all cables going to/from the led lights.
Lets see if it's getting any better  ;)
