    « on: 2015-12-14 22:18:42 »
is there a bagster tank bag to fit the 1600gt ,i can get the bagster tank cover in the cosmic blue / black next year,i dont ride with the panniers on unless needed ,so i just need a smallish bag to carry few odds and sods puncture repair kit ,mini compressor ,  as no room under the seat to put this. just looks like a bagster tank bag may fowl the handle bars ??

I know what you mean about bar and tank bag interfacing.  Looks tight.  I just treated myself to a barbag. Small but can get the money phone etc in it .

Had a bagster set on my old RT - have had the bags for years & just kept replacing the tank harness when I changed bikes - PITA, always sounding the horn etc. when turning the bars. Did a mock up on the GT, with same result. If you do not have any Bagster kit yet go for the dedicated BMW bag. No fouling problems & cheaper than a Bagster harness & bag. You could try a small Givi strap on bag but check fit before you buy.

Afraid not. They are two completely different mounting systems.

This is exactly the one I have. It's great for smaller items like your wallet and a phone but doesn't hold a puncture kit and a mini compressor (and I have both of those as well).

That is not an elastic strap. It is an extra velcro strap, probably for use on other types of handle bars. I don't use it.
