Those look better than my Wunderlich set.  Good idea.

But it begs the question: does the GT fairing provide hand protection.  I was told it did when I bought it.  But found a bit of blast so went with guards.  Anyone else think they're necessary?

I have the Aeroflow aerowings, which do a very good job indeed. I noticed this one day when my first GT went in for some warranty work and when I picked it up the mechanic had only refitted one of the guards. I could feel the difference immediately in terms of the protection.

the ones I fitted are triumph part number ( AP9708203 )
keeps my hands dry in the wet and warm went out on sat just above freezing
works and looks like were made to fit bike
              HOW I MADE THEM FIT
              (1) REMOVE BAR ENDS AND CUT IN HALF
              (2) UND LEVER NUT AND BOLT
              (3) DISCARD THE BAR ENDS THAT COMES WITH NEW GARD
              (4) YOU WILL HAVE TO CUT DOWN THE BRAKET THAT COMES WITH GARD
              (5) THE END OF THE GARD IS FIXED BETWEEN BAR ENDS
I will take some photos if you would like
if you have a 16 gt works a treat dose not fowl on lock to lock
