    Annual Service Front
    « on: 2016-03-05 17:39:05 »
bike was in today to get it's annual service, second birthday with 5965 mile on the clock. They carried out …oil change with filter
…oil change in rear bevel gears
                                      …supply and fit a front Z8(M)
Along with all the usual checks cost all in £323.87. Anyway have a couple of questions to ask. The visual Health Check sheet has been ticked green but can anyone tell me…

New front brake pad depth? Says I have 2.8mm left

New rear pad depth? Says I have 2.2mm left

Front wheel slight run out R/H side. But ticked as OK. What does this mean? And is it OK?

Seems a bit of a hefty price for the service and tyre.

Assuming BMW uses the same codes everywhere this is what they say on my invoice. All these codes are labour costs.
0000111 = BMW service including test ride
1100609 = Oil change including filter
              3374500 = ?? (not on my invoice)

Hope this is a little clearer Keith ZX

FP-NLD based on your post it would appear that code 3374500 is labour for diff oil change.

Would have asked but I was so tired having just finished a hard week of nightshifts and all I wanted was to get to my bed.

I just checked on the Maintenance DVD.

00 00 111 = BMW Service. That's the general inspection including the use of the BMW Motorrad diagnostic system

11 00 609 = Oil change in engine with filter (for maintenance)

33 764 500 = Oil change in rear bevel gears

Thanks for the information, all now explained. Don't think it's too over the top cost wise except for tyre fitment.

£145.70 plus VAT for the front tyre and fitment comes to £174.84! That is excessive!!!

Yes sure is expensive, had all my tyres from them for my K's never noticed it being so expensive before, will dig out previous invoices and see what they say. They may well have just priced themselves out of supplying and fitting my tyres in the future.

Just checked a invoice for my last rear tyre supplied and fitted total cost £148, so yes excessive. Next time I am over at the dealer I will be bringing it up.
