    Brake calliper removal

To remove the rear brake calliper, do you have to take the wheel off. I've undone the two bolts holding the calliper on but there just doesn't seem to be enough room to wriggle the calliper out.

I typically take off the rear wheel.  It is only 5 bolts.  Final torque is 60nm or 40ft pounds.  Be careful of the electronic speedo cable attached to the rear.  I always drain and fill the rear differential.  180ml of high quality synthetic gear oil cost about $6usd.  Don't overfill or you will blow out the seals.  180ml.  I use a hair color bottle from a hair salon.  Cost about $1.50usd.  drain and fill plugs are 20nm torque I believe.   Minimum you should charge the gear oil annually in my opinion.   I just did a full lube service on Sunday and took about 2hrs.  This link has a ton of how to info: /index.php?action=downloads;cat=2;sortby=date;orderby=desc;start=0
