    2017 k1600 up grade
    « on: 2016-05-15 10:37:14 »
hi went out to a BMW ride out on Saturday
run by my local dealer had a good day got to try some more bikes and a good chinwag
as I pick up my new k1600gt next week this is my 4th
I mention to them don't no what next to get ?
the sales men let slip that a new k1600 is on the cards for next year 2017 and its a big up grade
has any one hard of this or is it sales talk ?

I haven't heard or read anything about this on any BMW forum or at the dealer.
But that doesn't mean it can't be true.

I pray that BMW put the K1600 engine into the K1200 frame.  I hope that is their upgrade...maybe make it a K1800?

If my dealer would call this a big upgrade I would be very disappointed.
But I guess the bagger is official now.
I've seen similar articles over here on 'official' sites; not BMW though.
Photo's have been circulating since last year already. I think they post photo's of pre-production models to check reactions.
Based on almost all reactions in The Netherlands it will not be a best seller over here.
