Based on the current exchange rate GBP 19000 is almost EUR 22000
The basic K1600 without any extras costs a little over EUR 26500 in The Netherlands or almost GBP 23000.
If you want all the extra packages is adds up to a little over EUR 32300 or almost GBP 28000.

pleased I didn.t buy my 1600 gt sport in the Netherlands ,   they are too expensive in the uk ,  but at  those sort of prices it  is ridiculous, if I am reading it right !!!!! I paid around £17250.00 for my December 2015  gt sport

The prices I mentioned are for the new '17 model.
Over here we have 21% VAT and an additional tax for vehicles the amount of which depends on the CO2 emmission of the vehicle

I don't want to talk about it or think about it.  Mine is due into Chester Motorrad next month.  The deal I had, assumed the Comfort pack (cost £1,335) would be FOC.  Its been FOC for the last two years on the K16.

Anyway BMW said NO.  It was a new model and they don't discount any bits of a new model.  My dealer had to ring me and let me know, I stopped crying after a few minutes and asked for their bank details then transferred £1,000 to their account.

Now I am in denial, since when I pick up the bike I will pay more or less what I expected to pay.

So, don't remind me of the cost.

Stuff it, you only live once (I just gotta make sure I told tell my kids that I have gone overboard SKIing, Spending the Kids Inheritance).

you are totally right about you only live once , I had a shit year last year lost my mother and my brother in the space of a week , life can be so cruel. i have always said if you can afford it do it ,  you don't know what is around the corner , I am a sucker for buying cars and bikes , once I get some thing in my head  I do it ,the problem I have with the bmw  is the cost to buy and if want to change at a later date you take the biggest hit .
like I said if you can afford it and you want it do it  and  enjoy it  while we can .   what colour have you chose  ???

                After all, it's only money.
The fun the bike gives you is priceless.

ESA is standard now, assuming I am reading the specifications correctly?
