    hi don't know if you have noticed but the centre :( stand /and the side stand has changed from 2016 on
    went to fit my side stand extension witch as been on my last 4 bikes no go
    has any one herd of a updated part ?

      I have a dec 2015 gt sport 2016 model I fit the wunderlich extension pad from another bike no problem

        the one I have now is June 2016 on

            Had a 2011 GTL, now a 2014 GTL E and I have noticed that the 2014 bike leans further than the 2011 bike when on the side stand. Maybe the mothership started to make the side stands shorter!

              have check with bmw on part number to not been updated
              but have a look at photos and you will se the change on centre stand and side stand

                  yes the footprint on your side stand is different ,your side stand plate is of no use to you ,put it up for grabs on the forum!!!

                    I have got a top box from my last bike with a key

                      just a thought
                      the centre stand foot plate is smooth on the new stands now if you boots are wet it slips
                      so I have just brought a as new used one that has the cross cut as I do dot want to slip putting the bike up on stand
                      I don't know why bmw have done this
                      only to save £5.00 of the cost
