    Navigator V with Smartlink
    « on: 2017-04-17 05:39:38 »
Anyone using the smartlink option with their phone and navigator V?

I just enabled.    When in the bike, smartlink doesn't seem to connect with gps unless I go into app setting and select pair device, before I do anything else, it immediately connects because I've previously paired, but then I lose my phone functionality on the gps.

I would think you'd be able to have both options at same time.    Anyone have advice?

I have that set up and mine works fine...full functionality.
Only thing I could suggest is to un pair everything and start from scratch.

I unpaired everything and set everything up again.   Seems to be working correctly again.

The whole system seems very finicky.   Everything will be working fine and then all of a sudden something won't work like bike audio to helmet.  Sometimes turning bike audio on/off and/or turning helmet on/off will get it working.    Today, it stopped working and nothing seemed to get it going again.   Had to pull into rest stop and power bike on/off and all started working again.

It's weird because I can see Bluetooth indicator showing connected to helmet 1.

Just FYI: Pairing sequence has a lot to do with functionality. You may need to play with different configurations.
