    New to the forum

    Hi All
New here to the K16 forum. Avid rider, many years, many bikes. Just purchased a 2012 K 1600 GT without the manual. Had a friend send me a download and have been reading it and learning a lot-mostly about the electronics however i can't seem to find how to operate the audio. I've figured out some but can't figure how to change radio stations and keep them in the memory. Is there a separate book that would have come with the bike? Thanks in advance and hope to be here for awhile.

Welcome.  You will find a ton on info on here.  I use the search function located at the top right.  If you type in manual there is a full service manual like the BMW repair shops use.  The radio is sort of a beast.  If you have the Schubert wireless head set and a cell phone plus GPS it can be overwhelming at first.  Good luck and welcome.  I have a 2012 GTL with 50,000 miles on her now.

Search the web for "K_601_Audio Manual" - everything you need to know. (2014 version - might act the same as yours)
