    New guy here
    « on: 2018-06-20 04:25:25 »
Thought I would introduce myself: my name is Bob and I have been a rider going on 47 yrs now and have ridden a few miles over the years. I currently own a 93 Goldwing,an 02 VTX 1800, a 16 HD CVO Street Glide all purchased new. I recently purchased a 2015 GTL Exclusive with 12,000 mi on the odometer. I am in complete AW over this bike and want to know as much as I possibly can about it since I have always done all the work on my bikes. Need to get a Service manual for it.   Anyways , I do have a question: The bike seems to have the top box brake light but it does not work. Was this an option on the Exclusive or standard equipment along with what appears to be a trunk light ?   Any help would be appreciated.

hi and welcome Frome the uk
EXCLUIVE has the brake light fitted as standard
I would check that the central locking is working on the top box and the interior light is working if the above is ok its the light unit or just the plug ?
the connector is under the rear of the seat
I have has 5 so far and pick up my new k1600gt tomorrow enjoy the bike
it has always put a smile on my face and that's hard now days

        Welcome to the forum.
Top box brake light is standard on the Exclusive.
Check the connector under the seat as said.
If central locking and the trunk light work: there also is a connector under the chrome cover for the brake light.

              your welcome
one item to note is how you check the bikes oil level its not the same as most bike so read the hand book
it shows you how to check
its been known for some riders to over fill NOT GOOD  8)
