BMW, UAE have removed the wheel and tire, balanced the wheel, verified the steering damper for an weakness, no issues were found.

      still the issue persists.

according to them it is a normal characteristics of the bike and I wont agree to that.

      any suggestions?

Is there another K1600 you could ride to see if it has the same problem? I have to say mine doesn't wobble at that speed at all.

I rode a demo K1600GTL and no issue on it of this type,

They were initially thinking it to be a engine vibration issue till I replicated the issue with ignition turned off on neutral and it had the same issue on my bike.

          this happened yesterday.

I've never noticed any low speed wobbling.
That said, I think it is an achievement to drive only 8-9 kmph. I thought you'd go faster even when idling in first gear.

At 8 kph I should think a steering shake is more likely  to be an about to fall over wobble.

Never had such a wobble. Strange. Just let somebody else drive it to try out.

I'm with the other owners on this one, this is my second 1600, and neither bike has ever had any kind of  low speed 'wobble', or high speed ones for that matter :-)

I'm guessing you/the dealer have checked the tyre pressures and that the wheels are balanced correctly ?

Also check the brakes aren't binding as this would upset smooth wheel rotation, and maybe get the dealer tech to slacken off and re torque up all the discs/wheel/caliper bolts ...if you've tried another bike and that was ok, get the dealer/technician to ride them back to back as well so they feel what you feel.

Hope some of the above is of help

We have a lot of traffic in Dubai so riding at 8kph-10kph is very normal in traffic, if the handle bar wobbles at that speed, I tend to loose control of the bike and could result in hitting the car next to me.

we have a lesson in driving school here known as 'Slow riding' where we have to ride the bike at minimum 10kph for 20 seconds without letting our foot touch the ground and follow a straight line pattern.

Interesting that you mention this, I have just returned from a weekend away and during the last couple of days I note that sometimes when I slow down to about 20 -25 mph when cornering I have a front end wobble.
The bearings etc all seem fine and the wheel runs true with no obvious deformation on the tyre. I will leave it for now and see how it goes and maybe get it checked by BMW before my summer tour in Europe? At speed or very slow I havent noticed any wobble.

this is interesting but did you check the rubber on the rim?

I have chcecked the rubber on the rim and it appears fine, I guess theres a wheel balance issue and the wheel will need to come off to be balanced.
