    Winter preperation
    « on: 2013-10-08 20:53:02 »
For those of us that lives near by the sea and have to store the bike in a garage during the winter time, I would strongly recommend to spray down the bike with "Protect & Shine" from Motorex.
I live in a highly corrosive environment and metallic parts of my earlier bikes would start to corrode already the first season, however after introducing this spray the corrosion problem is completely gone and in addition I have a shiny bike in the spring time. Well worth the money!

Ove, thanks for the tip. In my country it's almost impossible not to live close by the sea (if you consider everything less than 100 kms close on a K1600).  ;D

He, he, I live 30 mtrs from the sea and in the winter time the seawater is blowing straight into my garage!
