    New GUY
    « on: 2014-02-28 16:57:54 »
Just wanted to interduce myself to your forum. I live in Bellingham Washington and spend our winters in Yuma Arizona. I ride a 2012 GTL and have put about 32000 miles on it. I ride year around.
My other bikes are a 1982 restored 550 Yamaha Seca and 1982 Kawasaki KZ1300 that is also restored.
Too many bikes in my past to count. Just sold my 1200RT. So, HELLO to all!  GT ;D

      Welcome on the forum.
Seems that most people who own a K1600 have one (or more) other bikes on the side.
Many safe miles with lots of smiles.

Welcome Gordiet.  I have the midnight blue GLT.  So far all is well.  No issues at all except for the "dealer acceptable shift clunk N to 1st" which the dealer claims is normal.  My understanding is that the 2014 shifts much smoother.  I do all my own maintenance but i am thinking when the valve adjustment comes due I may farm that one out to BMW.  Good Luck to ya.
