2015 seat lock, same as older models?
    « on: 2014-09-30 23:25:53 »
Picking up my new 2015 GTL by mid-October,  and the dealer doesn't know if my Russell seat from my 2013 will work.   Anybody know if I can swap seats to the new keyless system.  Hopefully the seat locks are the same.

Seat lock still works with a key if you have keyless ignition. The fod only locks/unlocks all the panniers and lockers and sets the alarm if you press its buttons.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forum.
Good luck with the wait  ;D .

Off topic: I saw that this message was posted four times. Identically and with the same time stamp. Maybe a glitch of the server? I removed the other three (there were no replies yet there).

Thanks.  Yes I got error message about server and to contact system adm. But somehow it ended up posting 4 times,  and then I couldn't delete any of them…
Ready for new bike,  just hope I stay out of dog house with wife.

Got my new 2015. Lots smoother with no clunking.  Like the hill brake.  Most farkels installed,  maybe some pics soon.
