Now I'd be worried about that falling off!

There is a tether between the camera and a fairing bolt for added security, difficult to see in the picture.

Apologies for no editing, I am just pleased with myself that I managed to upload it.

That was impressive and I really like the positioning of the camera. I might even have to mount mine like that.  :)

Next time I might move it further forward and use one of the fairing screws under the flap/wing to tie the tether to.

Haven't used the gopro on my k1600 however with my k1300. Mounted the cam just below the BMW logo which gives also a good view on the front wheel. Now throw in a few nice turns and you see the front suspension at work... :)

When I mount mine I use it in the same position.

Never moves.  Don't even bother with a tether for it.

Chris do you use the suction cup also or do you use the the adhesive mounts?

I think I need a better rated SD card as most of my recordings are being corrupted. I have today ordered a more suitable one, hopefully.

Go Pro recommend only two brands of cards, Sandisk & Lexar. https://shop.gopro.com/EMEA/accessories/

I used to use Kingston, Class 10 32GB cards and despite their cost they just weren't good enough and the camera used to constantly freeze. I've recently been using Lexar cards without any trouble whatsoever.

I also use the SanDisk extreme without issue.  Other cards that work are the Samsung Pro which are sometimes a little cheaper than SanDisk extreme.
