    Adaptive headlight failure
    « on: 2015-05-20 05:15:50 »
has anyone else had the low beam adaptive headlight fail?
I have dropped the K16 at the shop but they told me it isn't a single globe it is LED's and as the fuse seems to be fine I cannot figure what is wrong. Any ideas?

The low beam adaptive headlight is HID not LED.

Yeah they had that bit wrong, was a Xenon HID or similarly way too expensive BMW part.

Do you see a red or a yellow general warning light symbol en what kind of symbol do you see together with the general warning light?
Is that the headlight with the question mark; the one with the zero or the one with L/R?

The triangle with exclamation was showing on the upper dash and the light symbol with something attached was showing on the lower dash.
